Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Welcomes Physicians to Medical Staff

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome three new physician members to its medical staff.  Kristi Abbott, MD, Lindsey Mashburn, MD, and Bernard Taylor, MD, FACOG, were appointed to the medical staff in August.

Dr. Kristi Abbott is a pediatrician with The Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine located at 136 Gateway Boulevard, Mooresville.  She received her medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn., and she completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.  She joins pediatricians Drs. Dr. Lindsey Mashburn is an obstetrician/gynecologist with Lakeshore Women’s Specialists, located at 146 Medical Park Road, Mooresville.  She received her doctor of medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Charleston, S.C., and she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  She joins Dr. Todd Adams and Dr. James Zolzer in practice and is accepting new patients.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 704.658.9211.

Dr. Bernard Taylor is a urogynecologist and joins Lake Norman Urology with Drs. Cram, Polsky and Konstandt.  He will be practicing out of Lake Norman Urology’s new office in Huntersville, which is located at 9735 Kincey Avenue.  Drs. Taylor and Konstandt will be co-directing the Pelvic Health Institute, a division of Lake Norman Urology, at this location.

Dr. Taylor received his medical degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, N.C., and he completed his internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, N.C.  In addition, he completed a fellowship in urogynecology and advanced pelvic surgery at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.  For more information or to schedule an appointment with Dr. Taylor, call 704.766.1147.
