The Volunteer Auxiliary of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is offering its annual summer junior volunteer program for high school students currently enrolled in ninth, tenth, or eleventh grade. The program gives students who are interested in healthcare careers real-life experience. The intent of the program is to match students with volunteer jobs in their areas of interest.
Applications may be obtained between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm from the Visitor Desk of the hospital’s main Visitor Entrance or by visiting the hospital’s website, www.LNRMC.com (go to Careers-Volunteer Opportunities-Junior Volunteer Application).
Applications have also been sent to the guidance departments of many area high schools.
Completed applications are due by March 29, 2010. Once the completed application is received, applicants will be contacted to schedule a personal interview in April.
For inquiries or further information, contact Volunteer Bette Weese at 704.528.1737 or Amico Colaianni at 704.660.3574.
