Lake Norman Regional offers personalized MED-KEY Cards which are pre-programmed with your vital information. You can also present the card at a number of area businesses and restaurants for discounted purchases. For program details, partnering businesses or an application, or call 704.660.4859.
To help YMCA members focus on exercise and better overall health, Lake Norman Regional provides onsite nurse services and physician oversight for the Lowe's YMCA branch at 170 Joe V. Knox Avenue in Mooresville.
As part of the program, an onsite registered nurse provides individual health consultations, educational seminars, health screenings, lab work focused on cholesterol and glucose testing, blood pressure checks, nutritional education, health fairs and select vaccinations. The nurse also oversees the branch's medical referral program, a six-week exercise and nutritional modification program.
The program's medical director, a board-certified family physician, oversees health screenings such as cholesterol and prostate, lab results and implements programs for members.
