To schedule an appointment, call 704.660.4920. After an appointment is made, physician orders for exams may be faxed to One-Call scheduling at 704-660-8900. We require a written physician’s order for all procedures.
General Diagnostic Radiology services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services such as fluoroscopy, IVP’s, and special procedures are available on a scheduled basis. Special procedure exams include, but are not limited to, myelograms, facet joint injections, ERCP’s, biopsies, fistulograms, hysterosalpingograms, selective nerve root injections, lumbar or caudal epidural injections, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, and picclines.
Lake Norman Regional Medical Center's Mammography Services are accredited by the American College of Radiology and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Our mammography services also meet all required standards by the MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) and the North Carolina Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources. Mammograms are performed by technologists who are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography. Diagnostic mammography is available by appointment or walk-in basis at Lake Norman Imaging Center. To schedule on appointment, call One-Call scheduling at 704.660.4920.
Services provided by the Mammography Department include screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, spot magnification imaging, breast needle localizations, and specimen imaging.
The imaging services has specialized equipment that precisely quantifies bone density of the spine and hip. This service is important to our community because osteoporosis is a condition that affects 25 million Americans annually, primarily women, and is associated with 1.3 million fractures annually. CT Scanning services are available on a scheduled basis. Emergency scanning services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CT Scanning services include, but are not limited to, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, sinus, extremities, biopsies, aspirations, joint injections, necks, spines, IAC’s, and facial.
For your convenience, patients or procedures requiring IV conscious sedation will be arranged by the imaging services.
