Lake Norman Regional encourages involvement in the community and through partnerships for better health. Lake Norman Regional nurses are on the Board for the HealthReach Community Clinic in Mooresville and participate in a number of health fairs at local businesses and industries.
Our nurses also serve as community educators in CPR, childbirth education and lactation. In addition to participating in countywide disaster drills, we have implemented community activity programs, including one for children's bike safety.
Lake Norman Regional is the area's only training center for the American Heart Association for healthcare providers who direct or participate in patient resuscitation. All BLS, ACLS and PALS training is provided here at Lake Norman Regional. We have a partnership with Gardner-Webb University to provide clinical experiences that allow students to apply theory in a clinical setting with a preceptor.
