Mobile Phones

Use of mobile phone photography within the hospital is strictly prohibited. Due to patients' privacy the use of a cellular telephone is restricted in certain areas of the hospital and should be completely turned off (not in the standby position). The radio frequency signals used in this technology can interfere with the operation of medical equipment. Please watch for signs restricting use.

Security

All of our employees, volunteers, and physicians are required to wear identification badges. Please call the nurse's station if someone you do not know enters your room and cannot show you identification.

If you, your family members, or visitors leave the hospital after dark, you may call the Switchboard Operator and request a security officer for assistance.

Tobacco-Free Policy

The Lake Norman Regional Medical Center campus is tobacco-free. To provide a healthy environment for all patients, visitors, and employees, the use of tobacco products is prohibited on all hospital property, including The Medical Pavilion and Medical & Professional Plaza. Thank you for your cooperation.

Patient Representative

A patient accounts representative is available and ready to help you and your family with financial requests or concerns. A guest relations representative is also available to assist you with your questions or concerns and help you get prompt answers and solutions. Please notify your nurse or call the Switchboard Operator by dialing "0" and ask for a patient representative.

Lake Norman Regional Medical Center offers patients and visitors an opportunity to share safety or quality of care concerns by calling the hospital's Here to Help Line at 704.660.4249.
