Our full-service laboratory is certified by the College of American Pathologists. Laboratory services include:

• Inpatient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Outpatient services available from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. available by appointment and walk-in basis at Lake Norman Imaging Center and at the main hospital
• A variety of medically necessary laboratory tests available at all times
• A comprehensive program of specialty testing

The laboratory works with physicians to diagnose and treat any and all medical conditions. Testing in the laboratory can aid physicians with the diagnosis of many diseases including various forms of cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, infections, and much more. Departments include blood bank, hematology, chemistry, special chemistry and microbiology. Our pathology department includes two full-time board certified pathologists who are responsible for reviewing surgical specimens to determine malignancy or other reason for illness.
