CT Scanning Imaging and RadiologyServices

 The CT (Computed Tomography) Department at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is certified by the American College of Radiology. This ensures the highest standards for patient safety as well as image quality. The certification also ensures a radiologist with CT experience interprets your exam.The technologists in the CT Department are required to obtain board certification in CT within two years of employment at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
 The addition of the 64 slice CT scanner will provide the ability to do Cardiac Imaging as well as rapid completion of routine studies. The scanner is equipped with dose reduction software that allows for minimal radiation exposure to patients.
 CT Scanning CT Scanning services are available on a scheduled basis as well as an emergent basis. Emergency scanning services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CT Scanning services include, but are not limited to, head, chest, cardiac, abdomen, pelvis, sinus, extremities, biopsies, aspirations, joint injections, necks, spines, IAC’s, and facial. For your convenience, patients or procedures requiring IV conscious sedation will be arranged by the imaging services.
