Center for Lactation and Infant Nutrition
Lake Norman Regional's Center for Lactation and Infant Nutrition, located at 146 Medical Park Road in Suite 110, provides full feeding assessments and consultations for newborns.
The center's lactation consultants are registered nurses and all have undergone additional training to hold International Board Certified Lactation Consultant designation. Through a consultation, a lactation consultant determines if a mother is producing enough milk for her baby and bases a care plan around any findings.
