Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Announces 2013 Pastoral Advisory Council Chair

MOORESVILLE, NC (March 25, 2013) — Lake Norman Regional Medical Center announces Reverend Randy Sherrill as the 2013 Chair of the Pastoral Advisory Council. Rev. Sherrill is currently the Teaching Pastor at Central United Methodist Church in Mooresville, NC.

Rev. Sherrill was born in Mooresville and grew up in Sherrills Ford, N.C. He has been married to wife, Reverend Kathie Clontz Sherrill, for 33 years. Central United Methodist Church is Rev. Sherrill’s seventh appointment.

As PAC Chair, Rev. Sherrill will meet monthly at the hospital with other council members to advise and oversee the spiritual needs of patients, visitors and associates. The Council acts as Volunteer Chaplains, making weekly rounds and on-call.

Former chairs of the Council have included Rev. Dan Freeman, Retired Pastor of Berea Baptist Church who is currently serving First Baptist Church in Albemarle, N.C. as Intentional Interim, and Lead Pastor, Tom McCrea, from The Bridge Church of the Nazarene.
