James McDonald, MD
Van Sikes, MD
MOORESVILLE, NC (December 23, 2013) — Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is hosting free seminars, Do You Suffer From Osteoarthritis? Relief Is Here!, on Tuesday January 7th, and Tuesday January 21st to educate attendees about the robotic-assisted technology that works to relieve knee pain. The seminars will feature James McDonald, M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon, and Van Sikes, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon. These January seminars will take place in the Bariatric Conference Room at The Center for Surgical Weight Loss at Lake Norman, located in The Medical Pavilion at Lake Norman (next to hospital), 131 Medical Park Road, Suite 303, from 6 to 7 pm.
Lake Norman Regional is the first hospital in the area to offer MAKOplasty®, a minimally invasive partial knee resurfacing procedure that treats early to mid-stage osteoarthritis in the knee. MAKOplasty® can provide quicker rehabilitation and more natural motion in the knee post-surgery compared to a total knee replacement.
If unable to attend either January seminars, there will be upcoming seminars in February. For more information regarding a seminar, or to reserve your seat, please call 1-888-99-LNRMC.
