Graduates of the Special Care Nursery and their families enjoying themselves at the eighth annual reunion
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (November 13, 2012) – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center held its eighth annual Special Care Nursery Reunion on Saturday, October 20. The reunion, hosted by the Women’s Services department, provides families the opportunity to return to the hospital each year to visit with the staff that provided special care to them and their babies during their time in the hospital. All graduates of the Special Care Nursery and their families were invited to the event.
The reunion, which doubled as a costume party, was attended by approximately 200 people, with graduates ranging in age from 3 months to 8 years old.
The youngest, most recent graduates had their hand or footprint put on a tile which will be added to the Lullaby tiles that currently decorate the walls of the Special Care Nursery. Attendees participated in a variety of activities that included: face painting, playing games and painting pumpkins.
