Learn the life-saving skills of CPR at the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR course offered at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, July 18th, from 6 to 10 p.m. The course is open to the community and will cover basic skills in recognizing and treating life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Class participants will also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. The Heartsaver CPR class is offered at the hospital in alteration with the Healthcare Provider CPR course for healthcare associates. The course cost is $50.
