James McDonald, MD
MOORESVILLE, NC (June 5, 2013) – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is hosting free seminars, Do You Suffer From Osteoarthritis? Relief Is Here!, on June 18th to educate attendees about the robotic-assisted technology that works to relieve knee pain. The seminars will feature James P. McDonald, M.D., orthopedic surgeon. Dr. McDonald is also Medical Director of the hospital’s Orthopedic & Spine Center of Lake Norman. The June seminar will take place in Community Rooms A and B at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center from 6 to 7 pm.
Lake Norman Regional is the first hospital in the area to offer MAKOplasty®, a minimally invasive partial knee resurfacing procedure that treats early to mid-stage osteoarthritis in the knee. MAKOplasty® can provide quicker rehabilitation and more natural motion in the knee post-surgery compared to a total knee replacement.
If unable to attend June’s seminar, there are upcoming seminars, featuring Dr. McDonald and Dr. David Hillsgrove July 9th and 23rd. For more information regarding a seminar, or to reserve your seat, please call 1-888-99-LNRMC.
