MOORESVILLE, NC (May 7, 2013) – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the Mooresville Fire Department and Police Department as the speakers for the Senior Extra Summer Social. The meeting will be held Wednesday, June 5th, at 3 pm, in the hospital’s Community Rooms A and B, 171 Fairview Road, Mooresville.
The Mooresville Fire and Police Departments will discuss safety for seniors during the Summer Social. Topics will include fire safety, avoiding scams, and medication disposal. After their presentation, refreshments will be served.
Lake Norman Regional’s Senior Extra program is devoted to the health and wellness of seniors where membership and participation is free. Senior Extra program meetings are always held the first Wednesday of each month, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in Community Rooms A and B.
