MOORESVILLE, NC (September 6, 2013) – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) is pleased to announce Swapna Kolukula, M.D., Endocrinologist, has joined the hospital’s medical staff. Dr. Kolukula has joined the practice of Trinity Healthcare, working alongside Dr. Anthony Mascasieb, Internal Medicine, Dr. Chong Lieu, Family Medicine, Dr. Smitha Pasula, Internal Medicine, Dr. Elmer Stout, Internal Medicine and Dr. Yvette Pellegrino, Family Medicine.
After receiving her Bachelors in Medicine and Bachelors in Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from NTR Health University in India, Dr. Kolukula received her Master of Science in Community Health from Minnesota State University, Minn. She is ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certified and received Internal Medicine residency training at Greater Baltimore Medical center, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Maryland during which she was also awarded as the “Outstanding intern of the year”. She received her Fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism from Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Neb.
Dr. Kolukula is bringing years of hands-on experience to Lake Norman Regional and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology and Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
