Jamey Stoner, Chief Financial Officer of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, has been named “CFO of the Year” by Health Management Associates, the hospital’s parent company. Stoner was selected as the top performer out of a list of 66 hospital chief financial officers across the country.
“Jamey’s expertise in hospital finance paired with his knowledge of our hospital and desire for excellence makes him an ideal recipient for this award,” said Greg Lowe, CEO of Lake Norman Regional. “He is an integral part of our leadership team and never forgets that our people are our most important asset.”
Beginning his career with Health Management as an Assistant CFO, Stoner has remained at Lake Norman Regional for eleven years. In 2004, he was promoted to his current role.
“Being able to honor Jamey and thank him for all of his hard work and commitment is such a pleasure,” said Angela M. Marchi, FACHE, Atlantic Division CEO. “In 2011, his outstanding performance and leadership resulted in excellent planning, development and implementation of financial goals that have ultimately enhanced the hospital’s growth and financial strength.”
