Lake Norman Regional Medical Center's Volunteer Auxiliary Announces Annual Summer Junior Volunteer Class of 2014


This summer’s roster of Junior Volunteers includes left to right:  First row-Jeffrey Manchester, Darren Charles, George Butler, Reid Fry, and Beth Powell, Volunteer Auxilian. Second row–Chloe Eater, Madison Seals, Madison Clark, Livi Guglielmi, Kayleigh White, and Alex Chapman. Third Row-Madeline Dignan, Briona Pfeifer, Ritu Hasalia, Lauren Gaeta, Cassidy Davis, Gabrielle Geiger, and Sarah McKenzie. Fourth row-Connie Farrell, Volunteer Auxilian, Lauren Walker, Rita Venant, Meghan Crawford, Amanda Mikeal, Emily Vice, Elise Kidder, Julianna Campbell, and Sheryl Barney, Volunteer Auxilian.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. --- Lake Norman Regional Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary is pleased to present its Annual Summer Junior Volunteer Class of 2014 under the leadership of Auxiliary Volunteer Co-Chairpersons Connie Farrell and Carol Ramey with assistance from Junior Volunteer Committee members Beth Powell, Debbie Smith, and Sheryl Barney. 

A total of 10 area high schools, including Mooresville High School, South Iredell HS, Lake Norman HS, Pine Lake Prep, North Iredell HS, North Mecklenburg HS, Bandy’s HS, Hough HS, the NC School of Science and Mathematics, and Riverside Military Academy are represented in the Junior Volunteer Class of 2014, and the class consists of 25 rising juniors and seniors with six returning students from last summer.  Students in the program must be rising juniors or seniors in high school.  Junior Volunteers fill volunteer positions in numerous departments throughout the hospital including the Laboratory, Women’s Services, Outpatient Surgery, Surgical Services, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), Endoscopy, Imaging Services, Orthopedics, Physical Rehabilitation, and Admitting.
