MOORESVILLE, NC (October 3, 2013) – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) is pleased to announce Urologist Ashley Tapscott, D.O., has joined the hospital’s Medical Staff.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Dr. Tapscott received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She completed an Internship at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Tapscott completed her Urologic Surgery Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She then focused on male and female sexual dysfunction, male infertility and urologic prosthetics during her Clinical Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Florida. Some of Dr. Tapscott’s subspecialty interests include: erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease, hypogonadism, female sexual disorders.
Dr.Tapscott is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Urologic Association, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and the Society of Women in Urology.
