MOORESVILLE, N.C. (December 28, 2012) – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) is pleased to announce Tammy Hamm, R.N., B.S.N., as Orthopedic Nurse Navigator. As the Orthopedic Nurse Navigator, Hamm will help coordinate the plan of care for all of the orthopedic and spine surgical patients at Lake Norman Regional.
Hamm received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Bluefield State College in Bluefield, West Virginia. After graduating, she has worked in multiple specialized nursing areas over 16 years of practice.
Hamm comes to Lake Norman Regional from Abingdon Place of Gastonia where she was the Health and Wellness Director. At Abingdon, Hamm oversaw the resident care coordinator, medication technicians and lead resident care associates. Her responsibilities included addressing concerns by seeking timely resolutions and implementing various courses of action.
Hamm brings 11 years of orthopedic experience in the acute care setting. She places an emphasis on providing compassionate and quality nursing care and is eager to continue that dedication at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
