If you don't always remember to take your asthma medication, put a reminder note on the refrigerator, a calendar or bathroom mirror, says the American Medical Association. Other tips: Set a timer or alarm clock. Ask family members to remind you. Find a certain time of day to take it -- before brushing your teeth at night, for example.
