At The Surgical Center at Lake Norman, we’re sensitive to the emotions families experience when they learn a child needs surgery. Here, parents can rest assured their child will receive the highest level of treatment by a staff of qualified and compassionate nurses who are specially trained in pediatric care.

During the pre-operative visit, we offer parents suggestionson how to explain the surgical procedure to their child in a way that will help to ease the child’s anxiety. On the day of surgery, we allow Moms and Dads to be with their children as much as possible - right up until the last minute before surgery and immediately after. The Surgical Center’s relaxed setting and empathetic staff also help to put families at ease.
