Junior Volunteers
Ranging from ages 14 to 18, our junior volunteers have the opportunity to work with and observe experienced healthcare personnel in the workplace. In addition to being a rewarding community service, the experience has led many former volunteers to pursue careers in healthcare.
Hospital Volunteers
Dedicated volunteers have a visible role in many key areas of Lake Norman Regional including the gift shop, information desks, cafeteria and hospital administration. Volunteer positions are available in morning, afternoon and evening shifts on both weekdays and weekends.
Departmental Volunteers
Our departmental volunteers provide direct non-medical patient care and family and staff support in areas such as medical/surgical and the emergency department. Whether transporting patients or serving complimentary beverages and pastries to family members waiting with patients, our volunteers are a helpful, caring resource that helps everyone at Lake Norman Regional feel at home.
