5/21/2018
Mooresville, NC --- Local area high school students participated in monthly educational programs at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center during the 2017-2018 school year touring departments and hearing from various health care professionals as they were provided the opportunity to gain a better insight into medical career options.
Health Career Exploring is open to young men and women, ages 14 (and completed the tenth grade) to not yet 21-years-old, with an interest in learning more about health care careers. Health Exploring is a program that exposes participants to many career opportunities in the health and medical field. Some of the highlights from this year included department tours and career discussions from laboratory, imaging services (radiology), women’s and maternity services, physical rehabilitation, and surgical services.
