Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Welcomes Network Chief Nursing Officer

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center welcomes Russell “Lance” Coleman, MSN, MBA, RN, as network chief nursing officer, managing all nursing services in the North Carolina market.
He comes to Mooresville from Rutherford Regional Health System, located in Rutherford, NC, where he served as chief nursing officer since 2019. During his tenure, he had administrative oversight for all nursing standards and practice while intensely focusing on quality and patient satisfaction across the system’s nursing care departments.
Coleman received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, MA, as well as a Master of Science in nursing from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), and the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
