MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A paramedic at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has been recognized with the Caring iN Action Award for 1st Quarter 2024. Jason Cass, paramedic, emergency department, was presented the Caring iN Action Award by Tammy Moore, network chief nursing officer, and was joined by numerous team members from the department to congratulate him on his recognition.
The Caring iN Action Award is presented by Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in recognition of efforts displayed by extraordinary employees and is presented with a framed certificate and flowers. It was established to honor and reward those who go above and beyond to make a difference for both their patients and their teammates.
Excerpts from the Caring iN Action nomination for Cass submitted by his leadership read: “Jason has been a great addition to the team and continues to bring his positive attitude and genuine smile to work every day;” “Patients consistently talk very highly of him as he works hard and takes time to explain what is taking place and answer questions that arise;” and “If I could clone him, I would.”
Cass’ teammates describe him as hardworking, friendly, compassionate, and always going above and beyond when caring for his patients. Lake Norman Regional Medical Center recognizes paramedics represent an essential part of the medical team and the effort they put into bettering their community’s health is greatly appreciated.
