Health System CEOs Thank Iredell County Healthcare Workers
3/23/2020
Iredell County, NC – The CEOs of Iredell County’s health systems – John Green of Iredell Health System, Stephen Midkiff of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Josh Snow of Davis Regional Medical Center, and Jeffrey Smith of Piedmont HealthCare – thank all healthcare professionals who are working nonstop on the front lines of the global pandemic our nation and world is currently facing. While the effects brought on by the COVID-19 coronavirus make this pandemic a healthcare crisis, it is also a healthcare test, one we will get through together, and one in which our healthcare workers have shined.
While facing this test, our healthcare workers have embodied tremendous compassion for our local citizens. We acknowledge the many sacrifices they have made and thank them for diligently serving our community amidst difficult circumstances.
As activity has increased at our healthcare systems, we have witnessed the benefits of our preparation and teamwork. Collaboration between our health systems as we support the medical needs of our patients and the support needs of our clinicians and staff continues to be a daily priority.
We see how hard all of our employees are working together for our patients and their families, for our local community, our nation, and beyond.
After we have successfully overcome this pandemic together, our community will forever recognize our healthcare workers for the brave and honorable way they have served our local citizens in the face of adversity.
We thank our healthcare workers for tirelessly fulfilling their duties despite heavy and continuously changing obstacles. We are committed to supporting their needs under all circumstances.
We express appreciation to our local first responders for their courage and sacrifice. Constantly serving our local citizens in emergency situations, they have worked together with our emergency departments to achieve optimal emergency care during these times of high volume.
We appreciate all our healthcare workers for the role each of them play. The way they have come together during this time of unprecedented global pandemic shows that when we combine our resources and abilities, we can make extraordinary influences improving population health.
