Joint Heartsaver CPR and Adult First-Aid Training Class Hosted by Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in July

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) is hosting the American Heart Association’s joint Heartsaver CPR and Adult First-Aid training class. Both courses will be held on Tuesday, July 17. Adult First-Aid will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Heartsaver CPR will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Training will take place in Room B at the hospital and will be open to the public.
The Heartsaver CPR training is designed to teach basic skills in recognizing and treating life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Participants will learn to recognize warning signs of heart attacks and strokes in adults, as well as breathing difficulties in children.
The first-aid training is designed to teach the fundamentals of first aid, as it pertains to medical injuries and environmental emergencies. Participants will receive a card for successfully completing the training.
The courses may be taken together for $85 or individually. If taken individually, the Heartsaver CPR course is $65 and the Adult First-Aid course is $30
