MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Medical Group, Internal Medicine Mooresville welcomes Aubrey Calhoun, M.D., Stephen Ferguson, M.D., and John McGuinness, D.O., board-certified internal medicine specialists.
Dr. Aubrey Calhoun, board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, has been caring for patients in Mooresville and the greater Lake Norman area since 1986. He is a member of the medical staff at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, where he has served previously as chief of staff and as a member of numerous medical committees. Dr. Calhoun received his medical degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, N.C., and completed his residency at Richland Memorial Hospital, WJB Dorn Veterans Hospital, The University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C. Active in community outreach, Dr. Calhoun has participated in and led numerous medical missions.
Dr. Stephen Ferguson, board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, has been caring for patients in Mooresville and surrounding Lake Norman communities since 1987. A member of the Lake Norman Regional Medical Center medical staff, Dr. Ferguson has previously served as the hospital’s chief of staff and has served on numerous medical committees. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., and he completed his residency at Richland Memorial Hospital, WJB Dorn Veterans Hospital, The University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, S.C. Dr. Ferguson is active in community service and has participated in medical missions and led charitable causes.
Dr. John McGuinness, board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, has been caring for patients in Mooresville and the greater Lake Norman region since 2006. He is a member of the medical staff of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. McGuinness attended medical school at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, The Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo., and he completed his residency at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine States Wide Campus System, Garden City Hospital, in Garden City, Mich.
